Readathon Week 3, 2012 : Character Development
It is week 3 at the Readathon!
Did you know that in Week 1 and Week 2, we had over 3000 kids join the Readathon? Yes 3000 !!
That means we have donated over 3000 meals to hungry kids via FoodForEducation.org
And how many books did kids read?
Kids read 14,688 books!
That brings our grand total book reads to 27,346 full book reads!
And we are well on track to 100K book reads and donating 10K meals!
We need to pick up steam but I know we can do it!!

Our THEME this week is Positive Behavior
Books are such a great way to model positive behavior. Books and characters are the best conversation starters to talk about what-ifs and bring the best out in kids.
This week, we have one more book from our ever popular Stickfiggy
and Ice Water Press - a lovely Australian publisher sharing their bestsellers here via the Readathon. Thank you IceWater Press!
