Our theme this week – Strong StickFiggy!!!

“Strong StickFiggy” by Jane Marshall is an action packed book for early readers. The book is filled with illustrations where StickFiggy is seen doing actions to describe various words. This book will motivate kids to  exercise and become strong  just like strong StickFiggy.

 Fun activity:

Since, we had a “Strong StickFiggy” book so we decided to make a “Dumbbell” using a Kitchen Towel roll which goes well with our this week’s book theme.

What you’ll need: Black Construction Paper, Kitchen Towel Roll, Some Pebbles, Any Type Of Lids & Glue.

Step 1: Let your kids put glue all over the Kitchen Towel roll and on a construction paper and roll it.

Step 2: Let your kids put small pebbles inside the Kitchen Towel roll.

Step 3: Now, let your kids stick any kind of lids to both ends of the Kitchen Towel roll.

Step 4: Let it dry, and the Dumbbell is ready for your kids to use for their work-out and become strong.

Isn’t this a fun activity where the end product (Dumbbell) is something that is beneficial for kids? If you’ve done anything similar, we would love to hear from you!
